You will want to kill yourself if you go to Southpoint. Only because of the 1 lane of traffic each way that goes around the perimeter of the mall. That shit is bananas! B-A-N-A-N-A-S!!!! Who thought of that?!?!

Just go to Crabtree!

I was just at Crabtree

finding a parking space wasn't that hard

it was trying to get out of the damn mall. the entrance that is next to wachovia was the pits. you could only go in to the mall, they had blocked off the exit onto glenwood.

Actually I went to Southpoint this past saturday and had no problems. I avoided Crabtree like the plague bc the parking there is terrible because of all of the additional shops/restaurants they are building in the parking lots. Not to mention Crabtree sits on one of the largest intersection(s) of Raleigh.

I was able to get in and out of Southpoint VERY quickly. Yeah there is that long line of cars around the perimeter... but if you just circle close to the mall and then get to the light then you have no problems.

the trick is going in and out of crabtree through the back exits and hitting up blue ridge. avoid glenwood like the plague.

I made the mistake of going to Crabtree last Saturday afternoon. It took me 30 minutes to find a parking spot.

hit it from the back at ttc, avoid capital like the plague (this seems to be a trend at all malls) go down fox rd or spring forest

I've got to pick up one or two things at the mall today as well. I'm pretty set on just biting my lip and going to Crabtree when I get off work (which will hopefully be before 5)

My reasoning is that it will be less crowded than it was yesterday.

And speaking of Crabtree, why the fuck do they have Himalayan sized speed bumps? Jesus Christ!

I haven't been to a mall in over 6 months.

It's been pretty awesome.

Southpoint has extended hours to 11pm (I'm sure the others have too). So going later might not be bad.

Also, I know Belk stays open to midnight tonight and tomorrow.

southpoint was a mess today. since work was slow, a bunch of coworkers went to run errands and get some last minute things and they said it was a disaster getting in/out of there and there were cops directing traffic.

you'll noticed he hasn't posted since he left for the mall

because he probably got ran over by a soccer mom in a massive SUV

or is still stuck in traffic trying to just leave the place

probably both

srsly, roll out to Southpoint late, I don't think that many people will be there at 10 PM. I got there at around 9:45 last Tuesday and it was absolutely dead.
