Motherfucker, try reading like an adult. "Halloween" is fucking "All Hallow's Eve". "All Hallow's Eve" is a holiday created by the pope in the 800s that was designated to happen the day after Samhain/Feralia/Pomona which were pagan/roman holidays celebrated at the same time of year.

Halloween is named as such because of "All Hallow's Eve", yet every christian i know dressed up like some random ass shit this year (a tradidtion of the pagan holidays) and didn't say shit to me about any saints.

My church growing up would counter Halloween by having 'Hallelujah Night' where people were encouraged to dress as Bible characters. Halloween was an occult holiday and one of the reasons America is going to hell. I'm not making any of this up.

All saints day is not the same as Halloween. All saints day is November 1st, a holy day of obligation actually. Halloween is a pagan holiday, but it's evolved into just another holiday where re religious significance of it has been forgotten and ignored.

I'm not saying I remember, just saying that's why everyone participates.....

The major point of this thread was to point out that every person in the "Why do athiests celebrate christmas?" who says it is hypocritical for anyone other than a christian to celebrate christmas is likely doing the same shit on Halloween because they dress up and celebrate the "pagan" aspect of Halloween without giving a second thought to the Christian holiday that is the day after, which is the entire reason for the "Hallow" part of the damn word.

So the argument that "If you aren't celebrating the birth of Christ, don't call it Christmas" is bullshit. You don't celebrate All Saint's Day, so stop fucking having "Halloween" parties.


I have nothing against any religions or their beliefs. I do have something against self-important people with sticks up their asses when it comes to religion.
