well, i got a new (to me) ride the other week, but i didn't figure it was thread worthy. even though it's the newest thing i've owned. i guess i could make one for the "build", but it'll just be simple bolt on stuff.

i will be putting in a cage and redoing the interior of the c5 soon, probably after the first of the year. i'll make a thread for that. i've already stripped all the carpet, trim, etc. out in preperation for the cage and fitted new seats.

Jeepman should make one for his dodge truck, he's doing a pretty cool rebuild/restoration on it.

Fastest or quickest? Cause last I heard, your shit sprayed its guts all over the beltline. With obvious traction issues its a no go for quickest, but the LT1 porsche could be a candidate for fastest... BUT everyone lets not forget that there is a NSX on here that should give a pretty nasty top speed number.

Then again, what do I know, I dont read car mags all day.

When I say fastest I mean "fastest from a roll"

I rebuilt the engine a while back. Autocrossed it at ~120 miles and again at ~1000

still pushing 20 psi. it's got/had a nasty vibration problem starting from a stop, but it can do spirited launching/driving no problemo.

my 5th gear will top out at a calculated 140mph (rev limiter). I'm thinking about saving for a new tranny this year which will give me a rev. limited top speed of ~190mph, but with only 300rwhp, I predict it'd top out at around 175ish.

The 944 is pretty fast (imo). From a dig, it won't hook on 215/60-15's (especially since it does not have LSD). 0-60 is in the 5 second range for sure, so if you are looking for quickest off the line, it'd be a competition between neon's exige and BBR's vette imo. (i don't know how fast BBR'S vette is, but I know it isn't stock) Top speed isn't in my reach right now, however, it should be by the end of the year if I decide to order a $6,500 race prep'd tranny

I know I'm faster than an STI from a 15mph roll, but is that really saying much?

So what all has been done to that vette anyways? A nice cam and maybe some Nos? anything else?

The S2000 redlines in 6th gear north of 150mph. I've seen top speeds listed between 149-160mph. Of course any stock Corvette can beat that, but I think its higher than the Exige, which suffers from too much drag from the downforce.

haha, oh it'll still be a street car in the purest sense. it's just gotten too fast to be legal at most tracks without a cage. it'll have removeable door bars for street duty.

nsx tops out at 168.
fastest 1/4 time was 13.41 with a 1.8 60ft. @ fayetteville. car is stock with street tires. baonest and jsquared were witnesses.
