lol my mom made a funny mistake

i came into town a few months ago and had absent-mindedly forgotten to pack my soap and in my hurry to take a shower i ran upstairs and snatched the first soapy stuff i saw which happened to be some sort of pink ribbon-infused bottle of bodywash that she had sitting on her bathroom counter

i forgot to return it upstairs

well, this morning i received a bottle of it in my stocking to which i was very very confused

she looked at me in a weird way and said 'well, i thought it was kind of strange, but i just assumed you really liked it since you took mine so i got you some more'

i lold and explained things to her before gifting it back to her.

but one year my mom gave me this hideous neon pink, fleece poncho....with a hood

i have problems hiding my emotions anyway-- my facial expressions always give me away, so when i opened it she immediately saw the look on my face and expressed how much SHE liked it

so i gave it to her and moved on to the next gift.
