I have a 1994 Honda Civic Coupe EX. I'm going to buy a new car and sell this one to one of my fellow students in NC State.

It has 170000 miles and still runs smoothly.

Looks just like this one:http://ppgmedia.buysell.com/ppgphotos/US2604/US2604_2008612112317703736-display.jpg

With moon roof and everything, except I got customized wheels. Also has a loudable CD player which is not stock.

During the three and half years of ownership I have got a new distributor and a new alternator, which are the most frequent broken parts on a stock Civic. Also got two new brakes for the back wheels, and new tires from this Spring.

Known defects:
1. the main relay is old and not very responsive during hot weathers. I leave it hanging next to my left foot so when I start up the engine I'll kick it a few times so that it clicks in and kicks off the fuel pump.

2. the windshield wiper is not very responsive when the window is still dry.

3. A few broken speakers

Gas efficiency: never measured, but I can drive from Raleigh to Charleston with 9 gallons of gas.

Availability: somewhere in February

Location: university oaks

Price: negotiable. I got it for $4000.

Contact: message me or call me (336)428-6274

when I was shopping for civics I was really surprised at:

A) how hard it was to find a clean one

B) how much they were selling for

Civics stagnate in value after a while. $3k dealer value kinda shows this

I would imagine that this guy should be able to get $2k for it pretty easily

So good luck with your sell

Stuff breaks...someone should buy the 2000 Cougar for $3200 with 90k on the engine 2dr....thats a steal.....Hell instead of buying this car you could put down 3k on a Kia or a Focus...thats not over ten years old...

Why are you using the wipers when it is dry outside?

ive only had two hondas but ive never had to replace a dizzy. ive had to throw axle shafts, various gaskets and seals, and other small misc. parts. but i didnt think it was "most frequently" common to replace these parts, like a timing belt or something

main relay is ~$70, and is an easy fix... that shouldnt be the determining factor when buying a honda

this price, on the other hand...

We get it.
Your dad is a car dealer, you can find a better deal, and you don't know the difference between the HX and EX models. You can go away now.

is this one of those Nigerian scams? The OP's English and insane asking price makes me think it is.

re solder the main relay. replace the igniter in the distributor. check and replace oil everytime you get gas (330-400 miles). if you can do those 2 things you can drive a Honda 250k miles.
