^Yeah, like I said, buggy as fuck . I made this thread on my phone after trying to reply to another thread 3 times and the phone kept going back to another page and I'd lose whatever I had typed.

This is my first smart phone, and being Windows Mobile I'm finding out that it is complete shit. I've had the damn thing lock up when I simply turn on the display and go to make a phone call and the internet browser has locked up to where it wouldn't launch multiple times. Definitely taking some getting used to...

I've got the HTC Touch Pro, which is basically the same except for the slid out keyboard and It's been great for me.

^I like owning my music.

After a week or so of owning this thing its working out alright. It'll still bug out weirdly, but its just a matter of getting used to it. Now to figure out how to get the GPS to work through Alltel...

Blackberry was too expensive

^ You have to turn the GPS on via the phone location services menu. I forget exactly how to get to that menu and I don't have my phone in front of me but it's not hard to turn on.

To turn on GPS on Altel Phones:

Settings -> Phone -> Services Tab -> Location Setting -> <Choose On>

Also have the Touch Pro and have been completely satisfied with it. It's essentially the same phone; not sure what's up with the problems you've been having.

My only complaint with my touch pro is battery life.
