THE BIG BAND BLAST

i spent new years eve watching the greensboro symphony. it was wild, especially seeing the old people sneaking liquor in.. which was really funny, because the whole thing took place in this big ass church.

i should have taken marko as my date. MARKO U LIKE SPIKE JONES

then i got a cup of coffee and went home and watched in horror as dick clark counted down to the new year, then i went to bed.

haaaaa i'm not sure, i'm thinking it was all three... a big-ass-church.

cause it was big. but it big to the point that it was ridiculous. i just couldnt see it functioning as a church. like do people actually get up on sunday morning in a rush to get there early so they dont end up in the balcony watching the preacher on the freaking jumbotrons?

i guess people really do give up 10% of their income to the church. this place was a christian rock band's dream!!1

ha, i'd like to see that. i like checking out all the money they spend on some of those places. i bet the national cathedral is gold plated and stuff

but the auditoriums with the crazy sound and light systems, i guess its part of the modern church strategy plan. if their worship center can double as a concert hall, then they can have a super cool church that pays for itself

it kinda made me want to see what they do with all that stuff during a regular service.
