I lost my pokemon pearl last night...It literally has four years worth of data on it and at least 10 battle-ready six-pokemon squads. If I don't find it, I probably won't be spending any time on pokemon in the future, so just let me know

^^ Ever since the Zelda days Nintendo games which are cartridge-based store data on the cartridge, not the system. Optical-based systems, such as the GC and Wii, (and dating back the the non-big-N 3DO) save on the system due to the impracticality of selling those games on rewritable media.
