Getting a text message two days before Christmas from the girl you have been dating and staying with a) is seeing someone else, b) decided she didn't like you anymore the day before and c) thinks you should find another place to stay. Glad i didn't buy the present i'd planned on!

Fortunately New Years was pretty daggum awesome, and actually Christmas was too.
