Hope someone shanks the motherfucker before he gets out.
1/4/2009 8:09:28 PM
I'm guessing shank means something more serious than pulling his pants around his ankles.
1/4/2009 8:10:14 PM
Vick will be back soon and will be the QB for the Oakland Raiders
1/4/2009 8:11:24 PM
he'll be somebody's bitch before it's over.
1/4/2009 8:11:25 PM
Yeah hard to imagine someone could do this to animals
1/4/2009 8:22:13 PM
What happened to the State case against him?
1/4/2009 8:22:36 PM
so....being found guilty, and punished by the united states legal system by means of incarceration, fines, etc... isn't good enough for ya?you need him to to be punished further.sweet
1/4/2009 8:28:13 PM
Why don't you ask the dogs if that's enough?
1/4/2009 8:33:07 PM
well, the ones that are still alive are still....dogs. so I don't think they could talk.I guess I asking why people shouldn't get a fair shake after they've done their time?
1/4/2009 8:34:29 PM
because sometimes the time they serve isn't enough punishment
1/4/2009 8:37:20 PM
welp, I don't know what else to tell you besides 'that's a matter of opinion'but YOUR government has sentenced and punished Vick. They have said what is enough. Who in the hell are you to turn around and wish further punishment?America would be an even more fucked up place without some sort of structure to punishment, i.e., "John, we know you've served your time and we said we would let you out. But Billy Bob thinks you should be shot as well. Sorry Buddy...."You don't see how stupid that sounds?
1/4/2009 8:41:37 PM
i saw that one. totally fucked
1/4/2009 8:41:41 PM
1/4/2009 8:42:59 PM
don't get me wrong. I'm not saying the government knows what's best. But they ARE able to offer some structure and uniformity.^do you vote? do you trust the govt. to punish people? abide by laws?sorry bud, it's your govt.]
1/4/2009 8:44:43 PM
i agree, the rules set by our government are uniformly fucked up.
1/4/2009 8:45:28 PM
seems pretty fair to me that he gets out nowthey still are just dogs...hes pretty much known for the rest of his life as the guy that fucked his life up on some stupid dog fights...thats bad enough...hes only like 30 now...40 years of living with that?not like white folks don get off easy from the justice system sometimes
1/4/2009 8:46:15 PM
it has nothing to do with what color he is[Edited on January 4, 2009 at 8:47 PM. Reason : .]
1/4/2009 8:47:03 PM
his punishment is more than fair. animals are subordinate to people.
1/4/2009 8:48:05 PM
Dog fighting is really fucked up, and Mike Vick was a fucking IDIOT for what he did...I seriously doubt he'll make any more of those types of stupid mistakes again after all he's just been through though. That's just my opinion though, which doesn't mean too much since I don't have any fancy letters after my name yet.[Edited on January 4, 2009 at 8:49 PM. Reason : ]

its your fucking governmentits the laws of your countrylike it or not, that's the way it worksyou are a moron and certainly in no place to judge another human being.

Fuck you for having an opinion that isn't 100% in line with the government.

1/5/2009 12:16:30 AM
its not like he killed anyone.
1/5/2009 12:19:16 AM
There's nothing I'd like more for Michael Vick than for him to be murdered or killed by dogs.In fact, if I had only a month to live, I might just go try to kill the motherfucker myself. Also, I might just try to take out a bunch of you assholes that say stuff like "they're just dogs", "animals are subordinate", and "its not like he killed anyone."Fortunately for you all, I'm in perfect health[Edited on January 5, 2009 at 8:27 AM. famous last words
1/5/2009 8:33:25 AM
[qoute]What does any of this have to do with disagreeing on a form of punishment? Since when do we give up our right to have an opinion when we cast a vote?[/qoute]That was in response to his claim that "it's not his govt."Yeah....believe it or not, by votingm obeying laws, etc.... you are, in fact, participating in the government system. No one is saying the laws are perfect. But you dumbasses seem to love the laws when they work in your favor, but want some crude, self fitting, form of vigilante "justice" when things don't go the way you want. Now the purpose of punishment is to remove a threat, possibly set an example, and to reform. The threat of Vick has been removed, and example has been made out of him, and I'm betting he's not going to make that stupid mistake again. But no.....that's not good enough.....some of you want shank him, or kill him yourselves
1/5/2009 9:16:30 AM
silly liberals and your emotional responses.
1/5/2009 9:20:54 AM
^Who you callin' liberal?
1/5/2009 9:53:35 AM
alright Willy Nilly, we'll do it your way....I sincerely hope that you get caught doing something wrong. But instead of the legal system punishing you in a uniform (and hopefully fair) way, I wish that some random fucknut with homemade knife that strongly disagrees with you, is allowed to do whatever the hell he wants with you.this sound fair?

1/5/2009 10:28:25 AM
its just all bias.. obviously you'll care more if someone you cared about got hurt/killed, but you can't expect other people to share in your emotion. some people like dogs more than anything, some people don't care as much. every argument about this topic will come from difference of opinion so therefore no mutual agreement will EVER be reached on a justifiable punishment.
1/5/2009 10:36:39 AM
never said that people can't have their opinions. not once.I AM saying how hypocritical, and unfair some people's opinions are.I do agree with Will when he said the legal system is not judging on morality.....So I don't understand why people would want to impose their morals instead of laws on Vick while we're all operating within the the legal system?to answer your second question....well, that's a bit silly. I would never live in a country where someone could be convicted of murdering someone I know, and get a slap on the wrist...But I guess if I were retarded, and did choose to stay in a country where the legal system allowed that to happen.....I would probably blame myself for living there.[Edited on January 5, 2009 at 10:46 AM. Reason : $25 dollar bucks 4 murder, k?]
1/5/2009 10:40:41 AM
Exactly. So some people in here need to stop telling others what their opinions should be.
1/5/2009 10:41:16 AM
no. that's me questioning someone's opinion.me telling someone what their opinion should be would look a lot like this:"you opinion should be......."and I have said multiple times that the government isn't right all the time. they're not perfect. They are more uniform in punishment than random citizens that they they know best.wow, I learned something new today. getting CONVICTED or murder = walking on a murder charge[Edited on January 5, 2009 at 10:53 AM. Uniformity in punishment != adequacy in punishment. And if you want to run semantics on your statements just go ahead and shoot yourself now.
1/5/2009 10:52:41 AM
how the fuck are you going to misconstrue what I said, then pull out some semantics bullshit?of course uniformity isn't adequacy. who said that? I KNOW I didn'3I'd much rather shoot you [Edited on January 5, 2009 at 10:57 AM. Reason : a]

1/5/2009 10:58:58 AM
You guys are forgetting that if he makes it back to the NFL there will be plenty of opportunity for the NFL's finest to further punish him.
1/5/2009 10:59:29 AM
Is the commissioner going to shoot him in the head?
1/5/2009 10:59:59 AM
ok ok ok, I see your point. It's true, I would MUCH rather have everyone live by my belief system as opposed to their own. life would be awesome then!
1/5/2009 11:00:38 AM
Nah, you're belief system is fucked up.
1/5/2009 11:01:15 AM
Micheal Vick will continue with the apologies and the protests will die down.In the mean time, he'll be a cheap pick up for any team struggling at QB. The fact that the patriots are going to franchise Cassel, and Warner, Favre, and Collins all have 1 foot out the door, makes Vick's stock go up a little more.If you guys don't think Vick will make several huge apologies, and donate some money (which he doesnt have atm), and then sign on to a struggling team, you're fooling yourselves. The NFL doesn't exactly have a high standard for socially moral players. Whether it's dog fighting, spousal abuse, assault, or even murder accusations.[Edited on January 5, 2009 at 11:07 AM. Reason : nfl standards]
1/5/2009 11:04:11 AM
our legal system isn't perfect. not perfect means that some people might get off easier than others. it's a fact of life.
1/5/2009 11:05:56 AM
obviously...because I'm opposed to shanking someone in prison while they're repaying a debt. to societyand can see the benefit of uniform and controlled punishment as opposed to vigilanties avenging whatever ticks them offlook, I never said the legal system was perfect. But it's the lesser of two evils if the other option involves a random crazy getting pissed at you ans stabbing you.[Edited on January 5, 2009 at 11:09 AM. Reason : .]
