Suck ass. Give me a single point any day of the week. I have been playing with my new 3 point I was given for a Rem 870 and I cant say I like it

3-point is good if you're going to be walking all over with it and want the rifle to hang in an accessible, "ready" position.

for regular civilian use, yeah...i'd usually prefer a regular sling.

1 point = flop all around

It really just depends on what you wanna use it for.
I like 3 points for hunting. I can carry a gun when walking and it hangs comfortably and securely and is quick to shoulder.

For a police shotgun a 1 point is probably great since it's really just for retention and quick access.

i meant to say i was issued a 3 point for my duty shotgun. if i want a single point i need to get a ring attached so i can hook on a single point. im going to keep playing with it n see if it grows on me
