My brother just called me and said a girl was hit by a car just a few minutes ago crossing the road in front of North Hall on Hillsborough St.

I'll make him get on here and post more about it. Said the car was prob going 45 when it hit her. He got there just before the cops.

Don't know how bad it messed her up, but they weren't letting her move. I imagine the car that hit her ran the red light. It happens all the time there. My brother was almost hit by a car blatantly running the red light back in August.

Yeah, it's the intersection near the belltower. At North Hall and Sadlack's.

Something has to be done about the safety at that intersection. I don't know if it's the position or the timing of the stoplights, but i frequently see cars screeching to a halt or running the light at the intersection (hillsborough and enterprise) This isn't good considering the number of people that cross there. Cars pop over the hill speeding and i guess they don't pay attention. I am always cautious there since i was almost hit myself as Bigcementpon mentioned above.
