GO GIANTS!
As an avid Giants fan my entire life, I despise the Eagles. This game does scare me though.

^ What? I don't think there's any arguing that they're a seriously subpar team that has caught some serious breaks. What happened last night wasn't some amazing defensive show by Arizona, it was Jake throwing 5 picks straight to defenders and a terrible fumble. ANY team could've won against the Panthers last night.
They also caught several breaks against Atlanta.
When they play a team that can get their shit together for one game they're going to get stomped, plain and simple. 1/11/2009 1:24:14 PM |

xienze are you a pissed Panthers fan? Come on dude.
They got lucky they had 5 interceptions? Get out of here with that mess.
Warner/Fitz had their way with the Panthers D when they needed it too.
They won 33-13 not like they won a fluke play. Give credit where credit is due. 1/11/2009 1:32:57 PM |
xienze All American 7341 Posts user info edit post |
^ Yeah I'm pissed but still. You're kidding yourself if you think all five of those interceptions were solely because of Arizona's play. After about three interceptions it's on the QB, not so much the other team. I mean did you see some of those INTs? It's not like Jake got fooled on the routes, he was throwing straight at the defenders. Do you think Arizona could come down with 5 picks against any other team in the playoffs? Get real.
And it's not hard to manhandle the defense when they're on the field for like 70% of the game because of the QB being a dumbass.
The Lions would've beaten the Panthers last night, seriously.

He's not hitting any holes, plus McNabb is playing terribly.

^^^So your team loses by 20 and it could have been more in a game that was over at the half and it's all their fault and they played bad and they other team just got lucky???
Wow talk about homerism. Come on, I wanted the Panthers to win too but how about give the Cardinals some credit. It wasn't all luck that their defense was in the right place at the right times...Also their passing attack was unstoppable and that was without Boldin. The Panthers got a lucky break there they didn't have to face TWO top 5 NFL wideouts.

^ I mean seriously, 6 turnovers in a game happens very, very rarely. Had there not been two picks in the endzone, courtesy of Jake Delhomme, it would've been a much closer game, ya know. I'm not saying the Cardinals didn't play better than the Panthers, but at the same time it's not hard to win a game when you're handed 6 turnovers and the defense has to stay on the field for the majority of the game because of said turnovers.
I'm calling it now, they're getting stomped in the next round because the Giants/Eagles will play competently and not, you know, have their QB cough up the ball six times. 1/11/2009 2:08:16 PM |
