^yup, 4 kirkey's iirc.

a 9 sec. suv ain't no joke. the new motor they just put in is a real beast. he's got a pretty mean lsx camaro as well. the tbss is still more than capable of being street driven too. not sure how much he does though.

oh, and as for the c6 full blown race car UNIT, i'll keep my true street car that can run with the trailer queens, thanks.

god outlaw 10.5 is ridiculous..4.teens is pro-mod territory(not that that doesnt look like a pro-mod) if i remember correctly, on less tire

-also ^car _only_ went .40 but the similar 3rd gen lower on the page went .18

very true, the 10.5 and other drag radial classes are getting nuts. too bad the screw cars are about to really start hurting the feelings of the turbo guys. i imagine we'll see some rule changes on the weight allowances for turbo cars in the near future much like the nitrous guys get.

[Edited on January 19, 2009 at 11:45 PM. Reason : i'm watching the new 275 dr class very closely, my car would be a stout competitor i think]

I will admit seeing something like the trailblazer do that is rather cool however. Not my cup of tea, but I can appreciate it none the less.

to be fair, they're not exactly ruining new/useful c6's in a car like the one pictured. it's just a tube frame with aftermarket (or maybe even gmpp) body panels. i see your point though, i don't think vettes much belong as dedicated drag cars either (kinda the pot calling the kettle black for me on that one, lol).

speaking of 275 dr racing, i saw on yellowbullet that some places are running true/outlaw 8.5 now i believe, which is equally nuts.
