I built my own for $200. And it was out of a full sized refrigerator with a freezer on top. $425 is just rediculous

Here is a Refrigerator STILL UNDER WARRANTY for $100. Granted, drilling the whole will void the warranty, but the fact that it is still under warranty shows that it is pretty much new:

And here is the kit, $150 with the CO2 Tank
http://www.beveragefactory.com/draftbeer/kits/skk.shtml

Build your own for $250, and all it really takes is drilling one hole and getting the CO2 tank filled.

I'll go $200.

If you spent over $500 making a single keg kegerator, you got ripped off somewhere....

The only way I could see it possible would be if he bought the freezer brand new. And buying a brand new freezer just to drill a hole in the top is pretty dumb in itself.

my buddy bought one new from sams club or somewhere for about $250. It is small, looks good and is effective.

$500 is horrible

no matter how much you paid for the parts, the fact remains that it is still homemade. and seriously people, these things are not hard to make. You just drill a hole in the door of the fridge and attach the tap to it. It took me less than 30 minutes to make mine.

My bad, that link was to an old ad I had up. I would like to thank everyone who reads over the classified ads and corrects them, you're doing great, keep up your important work. Here is the newer link, lower price.. http://raleigh.craigslist.org/ele/987855599.html

^no, you realized that people flamed you over a $500 price tag and in order to "save" your tdub 'cred' (of which you have none anyways) you created a new ad with a lower, yet bloated price.

that being said, $200.

I think $200-$250 would be worth getting one that is already built and ready to go. Anything more than that, just get the kit, find a cheap fridge on CL, and build one yourself.

The new link is to a craigslist ad I posted on January 10th for $350. wdprice3- Today is the 15th (Just to help you out, that means I did not go and create it after I got "flamed" for a high price.).
Just trying to get rid of somethings before I move, not to concerned with my wolf web "cred".
