if I had one I would post it, I posted it as soon as I saw it in the "breaking news" thing on CNN which is up there before they have even a brief story usually.

NEW YORK — A US Airways plane has crashed into the Hudson River, sending passengers fleeing for safety in the frigid waters. New York City firefighters are responding to the crash. It was not immediately clear if there were injuries.

Witness Barbara Sambriski, a researcher at The Associated Press, said, "I just thought, 'Why is it so low?' And, splash, it hit the water."

it just really annoys me that the link is to a video and I go to the main page and there is literally a HUGE headline about it but no link. I scroll down somewhere else and find the video. Of course I can't play it because it requires the next version of flash, which I don't give a damn about, and fucks up every time I try installing it.

So all I know about the whole thing is a tdub thread title and thumbnail.

According to unconfirmed reports, there were three animal species thought to be myth on board the plane, Bigfoot, Leprechaun, and a sane woman. These animals were being shipped to a research facility in Charlotte for DNA analysis.

i just heard he hit a flock of birds, and then used the river as a runway to "land" it on the water. that's why the plane didn't break apart.

that's fucking AMAZING on the pilots part
