Buses won't start up until 9 am if they decide to have class...but the way the roads look right now, I doubt that will happen. And I don't know about y'all, but I don't wanna ride on the wolfline with the roads like this.

correct. Buses don't run until 9:00 AM, classes start at 10:00 AM. Off-campus students don't have to report and must be given the opportunity to make up any missed work.

Don't risk your life trying to get to school. That being said, if you think you'd be risking your life in 2-3 inches of snow, I think you better start walking everyday anyways.

Seriously, it isn't a big deal. Most classes don't take attendance and if they do, you have a legit excuse if you didn't feel safe driving to campus. The State Troopers on WRAL are saying stay at home, wrecks everywhere, drivers on the road make it worse.
Anyone who doesn't understand that can get over it.

life? no. but my truck's straight body panels? maybe (if i drove instead of riding the bus). it's all the other fools you have to watch out for anyway. if you were out there by yourself anyone with some sense would be fine.

Good ole "fuck our students" NCSU

I remember two years ago we were having a snow/freezing rain event; and they did not cancel school. I looked outside and the parking lot of my apt complex was completly snowed/iced over.

Sorry Professor T.W Alexander I am not risking my life or damage to my car slipping and sliding down Avent Ferry to make it to your 10:10 Electro-Magnetic theory class.

On the other hand i've had professors be like "screw this universities severe weather police; you will not catch me risking driving inthe snow. class is cancelled"
