What a bunch of morons.
My fiancee goes to law school at UNC. We got up early this morning to a lot of snow on the ground and it is still blowing pretty hard here. School is still open. ALL the local school systems and now NCSU have canceled classes. UNC, in their infinite wisdom, didn't.

7 miles of driving on the ice, around a tractor trailer that was in a ditch, to get her to class. While I like driving in the snow, this was a stupid, stupid move on UNC's part (didn't expect much different though).

I'm sure they are at least on the inclement weather policy, which means if it's that bad then tell your fiancee not to go.

It's not even on an inclement weather policy, and they haven't updated it since 7:13 this morning. They should realize that all law students are commuters.

Only half the class is here, so he wants to cut the class short so they don't miss out.

Bullshit, if you made me drive here, cancel class.

But apparently the law school is closing in 10 minutes, so good enough.

It bothers me that the people at the law school wouldn't have the smarts to cancel class. ALL their students are commuters...
