with the technology and amount of evidence today it is really easy to prove who the guilty party is. this should fasten the process and not allow someone to sit in jail for 10 or so years on death row. it should happen the next day
i also think that people with multiple offenses should have to go to trial with the death penalty as an option. sort of like californias 3 strikes law, but just eliminate the worthless from the gene pool

I guess I'm ok with it, as long as the person is actually guilty.... however, "3 strikes" sentences should be restricted to life in jail, not death.

Also,
I think that for every executed person that is later proven innocent, the family of that person should get to pick one politician (or possibly one of the jurors from their trial,) to be executed.
