^ why's that, Champ?

nothing wrong with keeping up with the pre-draft and actual draft of our only player going pro this year

He's a Herb player. Fuck him. He's dragging down the program. Without him we'd be Top 20 right now.

Yup... so will Big Ben. Shit, I'd almost rather play overseas if I'm a borderline prospect. Cool places to live and pretty damn good salary...

i agree in principle, i don't know how much euro players that aren't josh childress actually get paid.

I mean, compared to the NBA I'm sure most Euro players get peanuts.

But really, if you're making over 500k a year playing basketball, can you really complain all that much?

I think were he is at with his game, he would be better off serving one more year here or going to Europe, work on his skills then go to the NBDL, then the NBA

^^^Who cares what people say on here, I don't think Costner is even on TWW. Costner is probably a self centered person that only cares about his best interest, and right now going to the draft will not be his best interest.

^well, if that's the case, then i hope he knows that despite all the bitches on here that spew hate and negativitiy, there are a lot that don't feel that way. last year was a little disapointing, but i hope he stays, especially he continues to play the way he's been playing so far this season.

Probably? DO you have any basis at all for that statement, or are you just crapping out of your mouth?

You know how I knew this was a serious thread that deserved serious replies? The Hamburglar picture at the top of the page.

^^ it's understandable that you didn't get my sarcasm, since you don't post ALL that often.

^ but it's insane that you didn't get it considering how much we both post in Sports Talk in the same topics.

assuming you get paid on time

/hodge

overall though, most of these guys have dreamed their entire lives of playing in the NBA...most of these guys are going to try at the NBA before they settle on playing overseas...I know damn well Costner wasn't practicing his jumpshot on a blacktop court in Jersey thinking "wow my dream is to play in Europe"

^ I know! It's a crazy thought. Especially with his projected pick dropping 6 spots in less than 2 months

^^ we definitely need him back. without him, the lineup looks like Javi, Zo, Horner, Williams and Smith

nah, he would have loved playing in the following lineup:

Chris Wright
Courtney Fells
Dan Werner
Brandon Costner
Ben McCauley

Dan Werner is horrible, he misses a fuck-ton of wide open 3's and he always gets his shit blocked inside. I'm glad he decided not to come here or I would of had to watch even more dumb shit happen the past 3 years.
Horner > Werner
