I wish there were more of them in North Carolina. Starbucks is expensive and Cup-a-Joe tastes like soap.

There's a DD on Hillsborough St but it's not easily accessible...and the whole other side of campus is lacking, especially in the Avent Ferry/Crossroads/Western Blvd area. If they opened up a drive-thru DD where the Dairy Queen used to be, that would be an awesome compliment to the fast-food wasteland that we call Western Blvd.

What? It's not like the door is on the second story and you have to jump to it. I go there all the time.

There's no drive-thru and parking on Hillsborough St is a bitch during weekdays. If you work in Jordan Hall and don't take classes then you'll almost never find yourself walking around Hillsborough St. That's why I say it's inconvenient.

Oh, then the Dunkin Donuts is not easily accessible for you. I find it rather convenient.

Yeah, it's in a great location for people taking classes in the DH Hill area. But people near Avent Ferry or Centennial could greatly benefit from one on Western Blvd

^^haha, i'm from up north and i know what you're talking about.......the concentration of DD's really starts to thin out south of Virginia though

i always regarded Cup-A-Joe as "Uncle Dave's Burnt Beans"

Several times I suggested, via the bathroom wall, that he should change the name.... but apparently Dave never got my suggestions.

Dunkin Donuts coffee is pretty good, but if I'm on Hillsborough street and looking for coffee then I'm going to Global Village (if they're open )

Cup of Joe is gross and most times I go without rather than go there.

I like GV, I just don't like their lines. Of course everyone is there to admire the doushe bag's lambo of course. Or at least that is what he appears to believe. Sweet car though.

D&D's are fucking everywhere in Massachusetts.

There was only 4 fast food restaurants in the small town I went to high school in: 2 of them were Dunkin Donuts.

Because there is nowhere else that serves coffee than these 3 establishments. NOWHERE.

If you're looking for a crappy cup of coffee just go to McDonald's.

I used to go to Cup-a-Joe because they were open until midnight, making it a convenient study spot. But then the assholes changed their hours and I stopped going.

^^that's why I like D&D's over Krispy Kreme. I'm not a big donuts fan but I'd rather eat D&D's over Krisy Kreme anyday. Cakey donuts FTW.

Their hot coffee 6.5/10, cold coffee 9/10, peanut doughnuts 10.5/10, other breakfast foods 6.5/10 (if you're a bagel/croissant fan)

So Dairy Queen on Western closed?? I hadn't noticed. I haven't been there since the summer. And FYI, there's a DD on 401 in Garner (what non-locals call "S. Saunders") like right by where Tryon hits it. Turn left and go towards that cookout and shit and it's right there beside that Boj's.

^Isn't Reverie under new ownership?

I have one of their "frequent customer" cards all filled up and I could get a free drink but I haven't been there since Jason was the owner.

i don't get it.

i have never been wowed by dunkin donuts. i think it is just one of those things that is cool to like. its like the new starbucks because it is less soccer momish.

dunkin is good, but it isn't amazing (to me). i wouldn't go there every morning. and if there was a long line i definitely wouldn't wait in it.

why all the cup-a-joe hate?

there's a DD opening in Smithfield sometime soon.

DD coffee is so-so at best.

because cup-a-joe is terrible.

but dunkin donuts > krispy kreme for sure. the only thing KK has for it is a warm plain glazed every now and again, and even then Im only good for like 2 and Ive had my share of them for awhile. But I can eat disgusting amounts of cake donuts.
