So is this in-game ad supported or what? I heard they're selling things like new skins and things but not allowing players to 'buy' an advantage over the free guys

How are they paying for the thing?

Same here! It was supposed to be out before the end of the year then the beginning of the new year.

I quit playing because every server I joined had commander hacks which caused the server to crash.
