When I was younger, I remember my church having chiterling dinners. I would watch the men "clean" them. This consisted of turning them inside out and pulling out chunks of corn and other undigested material that the plant machines had not gotten out...I never touched them and never will.

I once had bacon wrapped chicken livers in a mixed grill dish in Serbia

it was fucking delicious

I wouldn't eat a whole meal of it - too rich
but 1 or 2 chicken livers properly prepared are yumtastic
