heading to rex urgent care in a few minutes

i sent an email to my team at work saying that i'll try to be in later

then my boss sends out an email saying that we're short staffed because in addition to me, 3 other people are out sick and 2 are on vacation. there are only 12 people on our team.

so i reply and say that i'll definitely be in as soon as i can, i can tough it out with meds.

the boss above my boss emails me and says "dude, stay home if you are sick"

what should i do? 6 people isn't nearly enough to get all of our shit done...

We've had that type of sick hanging around our house for awhile now, it took about a week to run its course.

Nice boss. They just cut everyone's sick time by 4 days here, creating an atmosphere where you come in anyway 'cause you know you'll be even sicker later in the year. They want people to spread sickness + suffer at work.
