i can usually buy some time by argueing with the tour foreman about whether or not the shift millwright can handle it, i have to actually be there to assess the problem before i can call anybody in, and that initself is a clusterfuck due to our wonderful union

7 torn up lifts trucks, bark hog bearing going out, blew out a roll stop cylinder in shipping, and now the hot lime drag conveyor has a broken link and i dont know if its gonna make it till monday, but it will take 6 hours to get the load off the kiln and cool it down to work on it anyway

7 torn up lifts trucks - fork lifts
bark hog bearing - bearing on a fine industrial grinder
roll stop clyinder - pneumatic cylinder connected to an arm that on positive release, a rolling motion is imparted to the roll and it rolls from the discharging platform?
broken link - think broken link on a chain

i'm probably wrong on all counts, but i like to guess.
