I was looking for a program where i could record some harmonica playing, at the same time over laping some rhythym guitar or whatever. Any suggestions?

Not up on these type of programs. Can cakewalk do this?

Cubase Nuendo. Its easy enough to use and pretty powerful. Obvious logic if you're a faggot with a mac

it would be a PC, no mac here.

So essentially to do something like that I would just need a good quality mic and that program?

any of the cakewalk programs good? or anything on TPB?

If you want to take this seriously in any way on a PC use a Steinberg product. I use Nuendo 4 I think. But I had Cubase SX 6 or some shit at one point and I really couldn't tell a difference for my skill level.

A guy had a Tascam 388 on CL a few months ago that he said had been sitting for a few years. Told me if I could find anything wrong with it when I came to check it out I could just have it, but I couldn't get there before someone else was coming to pay cash. Super bummed I didn't get it.

Anyway, Ty Segall and Thee Oh Sees and all sorts of other people make awesome records on those.
