they are half brothers. They are very closely related genetics-wise.

in terms of actual family relations, they are pretty distant.

We're likely going to see Sasha/Malia grow up through their rebellious teenage years, so there's potentially FAR more interesting "drama" for the media to latch on to in the coming years.
