i tend to wear a lot of those goldtoe socks. the dressy looking black or tan or brown with the cool patternsnot cause they look slick, although they do.... its just that someone in my family must have a hookup or something, cause my mom gets like a crate every year at christmas (pretty sure a couple friends on here even got socks from my mom over the years). like i have infinite socks (which is cool, but sock itch evens the score)anyways, they're really comfortable when i wear them right and pick the right size. but they are the WORST for when you pull em up too high, then loosen them later, and your leg itches like hell. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. it applies to my normal white hanes socks too, but nowhere near as bad anyone else hate sock itch? ps - parody threads are prohibited due to preventative gay statue 134.3(b)(iii)

I think i was at some wedding or something a few years back and forgot dress socks. There was an outlet mall nearby, and i bought some cheap gold toe socks.Ever since, I cant wear any other dress sock. I even get the gold toe athletic socks now that i found the low rise ones. It's like wearable sex for your feet.

YES thank you that was going to bug the hell out of mealso, do they make gold toe socks for giganto feet?
2/2/2009 4:43:21 PM
hahah... this creepy old chinaman at my place of employment must have the same issue you're having. i overheard a phonecall he made to goldtoe the other day.chinaman: "hello, is this goldtoe?"...chinaman: "i bought some of your socks the other day because i like to buy american products..."...chinaman: "i just wanted to let you know they make my feet itch."/call

honestly i dont know what all sizes they have... but i have met you, didnt pay attention to your feet.... but based on how you dwarfed me, i'm assuming you really do mean giant feetwhen i went through them, there were some that were REALLY long... like they'd probably go 5 inches above my knee if my leg was the same width all the way up... so i'm assuming they're pretty wide.but if youre looking for a nice fitting sock that looks good and won't rip apart at the seam, i'd look into them. i have a feeling they're the standard "house brand" at like kohls and maybe like target and stuff

whats your shoe size anyways? i bet its gotta be 18 or something without exaggerating. but i dont know much about the width, standard or otherwise. like basketball player range, no doubt/assuming you have to order shoes online when you get into that territory
2/2/2009 4:55:31 PM
17i get standard width because i like them tight, but i guess a regular fit on me would be 4E[Edited on February 2, 2009 at 5:00 PM. Reason : although 17 in slippers is too big ]

i get this from my insulated socks that i wear inside my insulated hunting/fishing boots. i pull them up high almost to my knee and they make my calf itch like crazy. however, i get this same itch on my knee from my under armor cold gear. i think it has something to do with smashing the hairs down really tight or something. it's hard to explain. i'll get it on my forearms from the UA top too, but not on my upper arm, which isn't as hairy.i think it's the tightness on the hair.
