i bet someone gets sick at the beginning of the show, then the team spends the rest of the show trying to figure out what it is, with every one of the their theories and tests being wrong until finally just before the hour's up House as an epiphany and the case is solved in the nick of time

I remember reading once that a network moving around the times of a show was the first sign the show is on its way to death's door. I wish I could remember where I read that.

I'm amazed that House has lasted this long. Fox will normally kill a show within its first few episodes. At best a show will make it through a full season before getting the plug yanked.

Uh... George Clooney left ER 9 years ago and only now is the show about to end. The show didn't go downhill until years and years after Clooney left.

Also, House, though formulaic, is still fun.

Nah, where it really went down hill were when Anthony Edwards left and Noah Wyle was off in Africa.

This season hasn't been bad though, since the guy who plays Morris is awesome.
