a friend and I were going to do that Blackwater survival challenge this summer. Basically, they just drop teams of 2 in the woods and hunt your ass. It costs like $300 per person, but if you last 72 hours you win money. Not sure how much though

you'll be driving through a simulated city, one way streets.

the assailants will be shooting modified assault rifles that shoot paintballs.

you will be ambushed or blocked from your intended destination.

you will have to reverse with people shooting at you and escape.

depending on the terrain (urban, country, etc...) you'll have junk cars all around and people hiding with guns all ready to unload on your ass when you pass by them. they'll wait until you pass to fire.

they will teach you the j-turn which is just a way to turn around in the smallest space possible. using reverse, e-brake and the accelerator.

never exit your vehicle unless you have a way out. the car typically is your best means of escape.

hopefully they will teach you to ram other cars when there is a roadblock and you have to create an escape path, by squeezing through two or more cars. it's best not to disable your means of escape, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

high speed driving is the best way to avoid people following you and makes it easy to pick out any suspect vehicles.

the pitt maneuver is a good way to get vehicles of a similar size and weight out of your way without disabling your vehicle.

any debris or recently disturbed pavement or dirt on the ground could be an IED. nothin you can do about that.

try not to get trapped in traffic. make sure you have somewhere to go, like a sidewalk or into another car if you have to get away.

never sit still for more than a few seconds, a few minutes could be too long.
