i had a cat that wouldnt eat pounce either. and wouldnt eat hotdogs or bologna.

but the fucker loved some potato chips, and would even eat raw onions.

my cat doesn't like food in general; we've never found any kind of kitty treats that she likes. she doesn't even like tuna. she only eats her regular food because she enjoys living.

My cat is addicted to treats like they were kitty crack. God help us of we ever run out of them, there will be hell to pay.

We have to give her a pill every night and she knows no treats until she takes the pill. She reminds us at 10pm every night that its pill/treat time.

Our other cat has never eaten any of the 5+ types of treats we have tried.

Don't worry about it.
Instead of switching the food, just let her go without a meal for breakfast or dinner. Once she gets hungry, she'll eat it and then no more problems. But don't leave it out for her to reject over and over.

My puppy did the same thing. I had to have her on a prescription diet, and then when I wanted to switch her back to her original food, she wouldn't have any of it. So she went without breakfast. By dinner she was starving and voila.

however...Pounce saved me some money the other day...

i had to buy cat food and had coupons for the food and the pounce....both were already on sale...lowes foods also doubles coupons so the amount of the double coupon ended up being more than the pounce since it was on sale...

so i got a large bag of cat food and a thing of pounce for $3
