If they had a 'beginner' section, where only users<100 posts and mods could post, and an 'experienced' section, where only users>10000 posts and mods could post, that might make sense. Instead, they've just got a stupid "members-only" section with no specific rules of exclusion. Truly a failure, if you ask me.

I think I've been around (registered at least) longer than a ton of people in old school. I just wasn't big on T-dub (I'm still not "big" now) during college and therefore haven't developed a reputation like all the posters who started school around or even after me.

But I just want to post in a few topics and help some people out. I don't know how many PM conversations I've had with posters who ask questions in the "Law School" topic. I guess it's just a little extra work to help out someone rather than posting...but at the same time I could be giving one person information that might be able to help out several people had I been able to post it in the topic instead of only through PMs.

I don't know why its in an "exclusive" club when most of the topics don't have a lot to do with being around "back in the day." It's basically like "The Lounge" with even less Chit Chat bullshit.

it's not exclusive - you don't have to be popular to get in - for a while only maverick could add/remove people but now all of the mods can - of all of the people that i know that have asked via PM to be in there that are at least alumni a very very small portion have been denied

there's even a thread in the mod forum to track additions/removals because there is no automated process

i was using exclusive as in - there is no notion of you can't join unless you are in the in-crowd - much like i wouldn't refer to a roller coaster where you must be THIS tall to ride as being exclusive
