yeah, there are a couple of really standout tracks, but they some of them pitter out before they get going (strange vine a notable)

but parade, people turn around, people c'mon are all good, and i think streetwalker is the best track on the cd

^^^^^Yeah, I posted the list because it's embarassing. I got a new laptop for Christmas and redid all my iTunes so the list isn't settled yet. It's gonna get even more ridiculous.

^^^AHA, Sister Golden Hair is the only song I'm really familiar with.

[Edited on February 5, 2009 at 7:20 AM. Reason : And Pretty Woman obviously.]

you probably wouldn't like most of, maybe the camera obscura song, the doc watson song (bluegrass) and if you like the beach boys, the explorers club song

[Edited on February 5, 2009 at 8:19 AM. Reason : based on the tunes in your top 50 now]

^I like Ryan Adams when I'm in other people's cars. I also thought Fleet Foxes were good when I saw them on TV.

My list really isn't representative right now. AHA

^Do you know what the "slight return" business is about? It's on my SRV version too.

I know it's like a baby Voodoo Chile, but why "slight return"?

The general definition of "slight return" is to move partially back in an artistic direction that was abandoned or forgotten."

Baba O'Riley is an excellent work-out song. I felt so smart the first time I realized it wasn't called Teenage Wasteland.

I'm also digging your Paul Simon.

i don't like it because it's esoteric and doesn't mean much to the general public, it doesn't tell people who know what it means anything specific, and it really doesn't even make sense.

i think it sounds a little pompous, could just be me though

it's like that song title in that south park episode

"blood spilled on the dark steps of my soul, revisited"

hell yeah dude...i run steadily throughout the song, but during the last 1:00 i crank up the treadmill and haul butt...really pick up the pace during the last 30-40 seconds, with a fabulous finish during the last 10!!

^^I totally feel you.

^I'm gonna try that. Except instead of hauling butt, I'm just gonna pump my arms really fast while I'm walking. AHA
