Blackened tends to be a favorite of mine, and the fact that it is the album opener helps. For most people, at the time this record came out I'm sure this first song just destroyed hearing it for the first time. I was like 4 of course so I dont remember :busted:

I love the intro, the solo fits really well with the song i think, overall it is just a pretty fun song.

That being said, I'm really not that big of a metallica fan overall, but I do enjoy some of their earlier stuff.

It's hard to just pick one metallica song, but it would have to come off of their best album, Master of Puppets. It's a toss up between Master of Puppets and Welcome Home (Sanitarium). But I will say that the quartet of songs starting from battery and ending with sanitatrium are the best 4 consecutive songs on any album.
