I was downloading some stuff, on AIM, and firefox when a blue screen came up with a lot of writing all I could make out was "crash dump" and then my computer cuts to a screen called "Windows Boot Manager". It gives me directions to put my windows installation disc in, restart my computer, choose my language, click next, then click repair my computer. It also sais Status:0xc0000221 and Info: Windows failed to load because the kernel is missing, or corrupt. I put the disc in and restart and press any key which brings up Press any key to boot from CD or DVD and then Windows is loading files... comes up with a loading bar underneath it. Every time it takes me back to Windows Boot Manager. I press enter and I have the option to go into Windows Setup [EMS Enabled] and Windows Memory Diagnostic. I click on Windows Setup and it takes me back into Windows Boot manager. I can go into Windows Memory Diagnostic but it just keeps running test pass and sais Status: Hardware problems were detected. I can go into options for Windows Memory Diagnostic and tinker with Test Mix (Basic, Standard, Extended = includes different tests it runs), Cache (default, on, off), and the pass count (0-99) Anyone have any ideas on what I can do or can anyone help me troubleshoot?
When I reboot with no disc when I click on safe mode with networking it restarts and goes into a screen where it gets a client mac address and tells me to put a disc in and reboot and from there it sais windows is loading files and goes into windows boot manager, and safe mode restarts takes me back to windows error recovery, and safe mode with command prompt restarts and takes me to windows error recovery, and when I click on Last good configuration it takes me back to the Windows Error Recovery (choose safe mode, start normally, or last good configuration)
Thanks for the help.

Well the main thing that is so confusing to me is that when I switched out the HDD for an old one with 64 bit windows XP it would crash also and give me an error. How can vista crash on one HDD and fuck up the other one?
