I am pretty anal about my eBay account. Also, if you have 500 or less transaction you better have 100% feedback or I will not buy. 501-2000 feedback you should have no less that 99%. 2001+ you can have as low as 97% ONLY IF YOU ARE A VENDOR, HAVE A STORE, IN OTHER WORDS NOT A PERSONAL ACCOUNT.

I don't really care, feedback is bullshit anywayI had a guy buy something as advertised for a ridiculous discount over its current market value b/c I had to sell it in a hurry to pay rent, then immediately complain about it and demand to return it. I told him it was as advertised and that I couldn't accept a return considering the circumstances, he left me a negative feedback.I had another guy sit on my order for 3 weeks, eventually I ordered it from somewhere else and sent him several e-mails and eventually a PayPal dispute requesting that he cancel the transaction. On the day I opened the PayPal dispute, he shipped the item and posted to the dispute the tracking number of the item, which showed it being shipped the day the dispute was opened. This was the only communication I ever receievd from him, aside from negative feedback.

That is pretty... silly. Because, I have been buying and selling on eBay since 1998 and I only have 746 feedback (even though I've completed well over 1000 transactions-- you don't get feedback for every transaction). So, just because I'm not some big eBay store with overpriced shipping fees you hold sellers like me to a higher standard? If you were *really* experienced on eBay you would know that vendors/stores can be some of the worst people to deal with. I ship my sold items the same day as payment-- literally. For example: I sold a lot of DVD's for about $150 + $6 shipping before Christmas and the person paid via paypal at 4:30PM and I packed it and shipped it before 5:00PM... I do that with everybody and in my buying experience, you get better service from personal people rather than stores. The last thing I bought from a store they took 16 days to finally ship it after payment.IMO-- Your policy stinks.

If a vendor sends you something broken or its not exactly what you want most likely they'll easily refund or send you a new, or different item in my experience. Dealing with a private sale so to speak, they is no replacement or refund most likely.I realize not all transactions get feedback but if you transaction was so shitty or fantastic to warrant appropriate feedback that all i need to know.[Edited on February 8, 2009 at 12:11 PM. Haha I am idiot. If that's the case I could just buy all I wanted on eBay, even if I liked it or not, and dispute it and get a refund? I guess I am an idiot.
