She might not even be that type of lazy, she's stuck in her habit and doesn't have the will to change it.

A psychologist on here made an interesting point. When you are addicted to gambling or drugs, you can physically go your whole life and never take or do that again, but with food addiction you still have to eat to survive no matter what, so you are constantly tempted. Would be like giving a recovering alcoholic a couple beers a day and expect them not to have anymore.

^^^^Kinda. I would think that if you wanted to break a food addiction and stay away from temptation you would resort to eating foods you did not like. I doubt these people are eating salads and healthy foods very often. That is what they should make their mind think food is, not what they are used to eating.

yeah... the thing I dont get is that these people are SO big that its really the people around them that are enabling them to keep going because they cant physically get out of the house to get food. Although I guess they could do delivery... take their phone haha.

most of them can't even leave their rooms, so they couldn't get the door. If I had a relative like this, I would seriously lock them in, take their phone/internet, and feed them a set amount of calories per day.

There was some show I saw a while back where the guy lived at home with his family and could not leave his room. His family would not allow delivery and pretty much tried to control all of the food that he ate. What happened? Dude rigged up a bucket and a pulley and would send the money down to the alley to the deliver drivers and then pull the food up in the bucket.

Looks like we just missed the episode. It looks like it's the segment right before the girl from NC. Dude's name is Larry Cooper and he's from Harlem. Can't find any video showing the pulley/bucket system.

I just posted that to give people some frame of reference as to how much of some of the most unhealthy foods they would have to eat to attain such absurd levels.

For example, 23 Monster Thickburgers per day.

They were interviewing the owner of this restaurant on Jay Thomas Friday Morning:

http://www.heartattackgrill.com/

They keep trying to shut him down because his waitresses dress as nurses and all of his food is cooked in pure lard. Anyone that comes in and weighs over 350lbs eats for free.
