the big issue is legibility of scripts

Electronic Medical Records will save a lot of money in the long run. The whole doctor's handwriting example wasn't the best of examples. More like wasting time sifting through piles of paper charts, when you can simply click the correct date/timestamps to find what you need in a software package like Allscripts instantly. Time is money after all. Not to mention the savings of not having to use ass loads of paper constantly.

If you ever need someone to hack Allscripts, you know who to contact. In retrospect, management really had no fucking clue what I did and pretty much were forced to trust my judgment since they were a bunch of idiots in suits.
