Now that I have a few nicer rods/reels I need something better for them than just throwing them in the bed. I hate to do it, but I need a rod rack... but refuse pay out the ass to look like a douche. I just want something cheap and simple like this, and I'll just mount it to my toolbox. Can any of you guys fab this up, I dont have a welder. Or tell me where would be a good place to have it done in Raleigh/Cary?

my gf got me the 6-rod version of this from cabelas. hard to beat at $90, unless you have some scrap aluminum hanging around. it's got the plastic caps that won't scratch up your reels. you could also just go with pvc.
