I have a 2000 Honda Accord Ex that is for sale for 8200. The car is loaded with leather, after market CD player and speakers (Pioneer Bluetooth ready CD Player and Alpine speakers, no cheap stuff here), Sunroof, power driver seat, power windows, Anti-lock brakes, the works. I have recently changed the timing belt, and replaced the brake rotors and pads. The tires are almost brand new (less than 7k miles on them). The only problem with the whole car is a tear in the leather back seat which I WILL HAVE FIXED BEFORE SALE (either replace the seat or get it professionally done). I can knock 500 off the price if you want to take it as is. I will have pics posted by tomorrow. This car gets 30 mpg!!!

139000 miles knocks 2500 dollars off the price?!?! I don't know about all that. Every one knows these honda's will easily run past 250,000 miles if taken care of, and have had the timing belt changed (like mine). The stereo system alone is worth 500. Not to mention the fact that very few people drive cars the standard 10000 miles a year. If your interested in the car the PM me and we can talk price. Will also consider a trade up on the right Toyota Tacoma.

That's what the car is valued at. You can doubt it all you want, but NADA is the most accurate.

And no, the stereo is not "worth" 500. It's only worth 500 if you have nav or something like that installed

NADA is fairly accurate, but last time I checked, NADA wasnt selling any cars. You find me a honda loaded like mine in a 5spd with a nice stereo and I will admit that your right and im wrong on TWW. The stereo might not be worth 500, but I paid 500 for it all at crutchfield, and if you wanted to get the same thing again, it would cost you 500. the stereo is a pioneer BT8000 (double din w/ BT) and the spearkers are alpine that were about 100 per pair. that makes 529.

even if you JUST put the stuff in it's still not worth whatever you paid for it..thats just plain common sense.

good luck selling your car for that much over NADA. 5-speed is nice but it doesn't add THAT much to the price

i don't fault you for your "start high and work down" approach (i do it on CL all the time)...only problem is if you start too high here you'll get a thread like this as the result.
