So my aunt is manager or something like that at Red Canyon National Park in Colorado, a park that is apparently THE place to commit suicide. People go up there, look at the scenery, then jump off a cliff or shoot themselves or whatever else they do. She told me the other day about one guy who decided to drive his van off a cliff. The van got caught on an outcropping of rocks and teetered precariously until rescuers were able to save him. They were alerted to his situation because while he was stuck in the van after his failed suicide attempt, he CALLED 911!!! He must not have been very commited.

disclaimer, i have a very clear and healthy mind and have no intention of self-harm. this is all for purposes of conversation. i'm quite happy and plan on breaking triple digits

i dont think its weird that someone called 911 after fucking up a suicide attempt. especially if you end up in a scary or painful situation.

i were to kill myself... it would only be through a way thats 100% certain. like maybe cyanide or something. but no overdoses or shootings or cutting or driving off a cliff or anything like that.

but a few years back, when my mind wasnt very healthy.... i remember thinking that taking 60 valium would do it for sure. but the clear mind says thats a big risk. even something like shooting yourself in the head with a shotgun. can't be 100% sure, wouldnt do it.

i mean, damn, it would suck to try to kill yourself and wind up alive in some really painful recovery.
