It's VD, of course the wait is 2 hrs. You could have called ahead to shorten the wait time.

I only know this because G105 called them on air to ask about VD reservations earlier in the week. I've never actually been there.

I'd wait 45 mins, but thats it for any place. I waited 2 hours at TCF once, but that was just because I was not paying.

We called ahead. At 3:30 we called, they said call an hour before you get there to put your name on a list. We called again at 5:30 to do so, they said they weren't doing that anymore you had to come to the restaurant to put your name on the list. When we got here, we waited 40 min in the line to put your name on the list to wait 2 more hours. ugh

[Edited on February 14, 2009 at 8:52 PM. Reason : I wouldn't normally wait this long either but hey what else am I gonna do on VD?]

Bahama Breeze on a weekend night is not a place I recommend going (especially if you're expecting something close to romantic for valentines)

It was a busy night for them, go back when its not busy then make a clear-minded sound judgment.

Fixed it for you.

I used to work at Outback, and when I was a hostess, I would wonder like "Damn, you came in at 6:45 and are not gonna eat til' almost 9!" HELL NO!!!

We went to Red Lobster around 5ish. We figured there would be a wait. We were told we would have an 80-85 minute wait. We waited 25 minutes and got seated. We had waited, been seated, eaten, and left by 6:30. Good service and quick compared to what I thought it was going to be.

You need to go to the Jamaican restaurant off Capital Blvd. THOSE are the best jerk wings ever. And if you're white you get the extra bonus of them looking at you like "where the hell did this cracka come from?" lol.

ewey. no offense. i know sooo many people that love this place. it is NOT my jam. also, i don't think i've eaten there since like 1992, so maybe it has changed.

i ate at red lobster exactly twice

the last time was in 1993

also, valentine's day is lamer than lame

i spent it car shopping, watching terrible hockey, and drinking extremely strong drinks with lesbians

then i called my g/f on the way home

Red Lobster is alright. I don't consider them to be a romantic date restraunt -- more like a casual dinner out with the family kind of place -- but I'll eat there. Their Cheddar Bay Biscuits are the bees knees.

oh yea i totally forgot about the biscuits there (see, haven't been there in like 15 years). but i remember the biscuits being good. it is more of a family restaurant i guess. if i wanted seafood, i feel like i'd go elsewhere though. but i don't have a family...just me

is there any particular reason you have to celebrate VD on VD? Isn't it just some made up shit? Just pick some other date for a romantic night out.
