I'm trying to check my email for my AIM account, but it won't recognize my password. Now I find out that I can't log into AIM either. I'm guessing I've been hacked?

Already tried the "forgot password" link, but it claims that it doesn't have enough info to tell me my password.

Sounds like my situation with Yahoo right now. I only used the messenger for the Yahoo Launch music cast thing, but now AIM has it and it's 100000x better...sooooooo I don't really care anymore.

they started blocking other-client access in 2004 or so, for a little while... cause of mainly trillian. but its a simple protocol (at least talk to oscar at that time, havent looked at OSCAR) and all the other guys are just re-interfacing something thats already built

but i still have no need for any of it anymore. between text messages or facebook or the phone

it depends on what area you're in. i found more people to the north tend to use yahoo, and the northwest use msn

also the age range plays a role as well i think.
i've seen some 30+ using yahoo more
and 18- using msn more

and then the people who got into icq super early and have like a 5 digit number use that just to show off
