I heard something interesting about hybrid cars since you brought the subject up. Aparently, and I'll have to check on this, Bolivia has half the world's Lithium reserves. They are making all the mines government organizations. That makes it difficult for us and Japan to go in an take it ourselves. So if Boliva does not give up the Litium we could see a pretty quick end to the hybrid car.
