This is my guess. One of his parents has significant native american admixture with a little bit of white and a little bit of black mixed in. Potential tri-racial isolate.

The other parent has significant black admixture while having minor white and minor native american contributions.

Roughly i'd say the average is

40% black
30% native
30% white

Only I can say is that from what I gather black is less than everything else. Black genes are strong phenotypically. Any person mixed with black you can tell he or she has black in them pretty much no matter how little it is.

I will tell the one event that could have been the demise of my existence. My dad was in the Korean War, and twice he said he was standing right next to someone that got hit in head by a bullet and dropped. He also said that one time they were being pushed on by what he says to be about 1:4 odds (Mongolian/Chinese Soliders) and the only thing that probably saved them (or most of their lives) was an airstrike of napalm.
