i put one lightly around a girl's finger in hs... she freaked out and yanked the end SUPER hard, her finger started turning purple and bloated looking as i tried to snip the one way mechanism with scissors, which pinched of course. I didn't manage to sever it but mangled the mechanism enough to where it released before her finger fell off. The teacher was pissed.
