So... I am really interested in getting a tattoo. I know what I want, but I am a little nervous about regretting it after I get it. Who all actually has one? Are you glad that you got it or do you ever regret it?

but you're right to be cautious. if you're not sure you won't regret it, don't get it yet. the other option that works is get a tattoo and regret it later but not give a shit that you got a tattoo you don't like anymore

I have quite a few tattoos and I thought carefully about everyone of them. I am one of those people that has to have meaning behind mine so I regret none of mine bc they are all personal to me. If you have any doubt before going in I would not do it at all bc they are permanent. I know you can get them removed but that is more painful and expensive.
