is there anywhere in Raleigh I can actually walk in and buy one of these? I'm leaning toward the spyder3pro. 3/4/2009 7:22:58 PM |

yeah, that's what i figured. Bestbuy carries the spyder2express, but only online. I thought about wolfcamera but they don't carry the spyders, at least not on their website. They do have the Pantone Huey and Huey pro though.
I'm not familiar with those, can anyone comment on how they compare to the spyders? 3/4/2009 7:33:32 PM |

I thought I saw one at the Apple store but not sure. A friend of mine bought the Spyder2 but I think she bought it online. 3/4/2009 8:12:06 PM |

I'd hope that the pantone ones would be better, given the fact that pantone is the color standard authority. 3/4/2009 8:19:59 PM |

the huey is nice, i've played around with one before and i've heard nothing but good things from people about it
haven't ever used the spyder though...
and yeah, ^ is correct, i'd hope pantone would offer the best color correction product...
also, a bit off topic... but the color cue is cool as shit.] 3/4/2009 9:01:29 PM |

either one will be fine.
Spyder is pretty much the defacto standard. Just buy one online, or drop the coin for the Huey at wolf camera 3/5/2009 1:03:26 PM |

yeah, I just ordered the Huey Pro from amazon for $94 (they have all of the monitor calibrators on sale). I called a bunch of wolfcamera's and they seem to only carry the huey, not the huey pro (which supports multiple monitors).
thanks for the input. 3/5/2009 2:21:39 PM |
