I'm putting together a fairly basic surround system and need a little technical help picking out a center channel. All my other speakers are already Polk Audio, so I'd like to stick to the same brand. Which one is better?http://www.amazon.com/Polk-Audio-Center-Channel-Speaker/dp/B0018QROM2/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1237218066&sr=8-1http://www.amazon.com/Polk-Audio-Monitor-Channel-Speaker/dp/B00030CHPS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1237218098&sr=1-2

your front three should ideally be the same brand AND series. They must match acoustcally. I'd just get the center that matches your LRs. Or get a better Center with the plan of upgrading the rest later.avsforums.com

The CS2 is probabaly a little better, but, based on the specs I could dig up, the difference will be pretty subtle and may be skewed by your own personal audio preferences. ^ That's not bad advice.

Thanks for the suggestions. More than likely the next set of speakers I buy will be in-wall speakers when I buy a house in the next couple years.
