There's been such a wide variety of these commercials over the years. Seems like different law firms have been pushing this (locally) over time as well.

Ads for law firms have to be top ten for the worst sort of ad you're going to see while watching television.

that's because the generation that worked around and was heavily exposed to asbestos is starting to really see the negative affects it's had on their health. My grandfather battled lung cancer from asbestos and had a lawsuit/settlement (not sure if they used a TV lawyer). But the increase in these ads isn't a random occurance.

Just wait until we are in our later years, perhaps we'll be filing lawsuits against Cellphonethelioma, a rare but serious brain cancer, normally caused by exposure to cellphones
